and this is the part of my website that’s about the author, about me. I can’t remember ever not wanting to write, and after a successful and long career as a Digital Communications Professional, my first non-fiction book How to Leave a Group Chat which was published on the 28th June 2024. How to Leave a Group Chat draws on the knowledge that I have gained over the years working as a Communications Professional, as well as coming of age at the same time as these technologies which have blossomed into the essential tech that shapes our daily lives. This isn’t the extent of my writing – I also frequently write poetry and I am open to commissions. I also have a substack where I share my digital marketing knowledge. I’m a proud Cardiff girl and I live to write. But other than writing, and having had a number of poems published, I live in Reading, Berkshire with an army of houseplants, and aside from writing – I am a member of local writers’ group Caversham Writers, I do yoga every week, usual activites like hanging out with friends, eating good food and kayaking on the Thames.
